We collect the information you give us when you create an account and use NewPoint.

Account details: email address, username, display name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).

Profile details: bio, avatar and header images, and links you choose to add.

Content: posts, articles, comments, and other material you publish or send.

2. Information collected automatically

When you use NewPoint we collect limited technical information needed to run and secure the service.

Device and connection data such as IP address, browser type, and approximate location derived from it.

Usage data such as pages viewed and actions taken, used to operate and improve the product.

Cookies and similar technologies strictly necessary for sign-in and security.

3. Why we collect it

We use the information to provide and secure your account, deliver core features, prevent abuse and fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve NewPoint.

4. Verification and email

We use your email address to verify your identity at sign-up (via a one-time code or link) and to send account, security, and — if you have not opted out — update emails.

You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time using the link in the email or your settings; account and security emails are always sent.

5. Your choices and rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data from your settings, and you may object to certain processing.
