Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of NewPoint. By creating an account or using NewPoint, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope and acceptance

NewPoint provides tools to publish, discover, and engage with long-form content and social interactions around it.

You may use the service only if you can legally enter into this agreement and comply with all applicable laws.

2. Account and eligibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

Information provided during registration must be accurate and kept up to date.

You must not impersonate another person or organization.

You must not use automated means to create fake accounts.

You may not transfer your account to another user without written permission.

3. User content and license

You keep ownership of content you create on NewPoint, including posts, comments, and articles.

By publishing content, you grant NewPoint a non-exclusive worldwide license to host, process, display, and distribute that content to operate and improve the service.

You confirm that you have rights to publish your content.

You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.

You can remove your content where deletion features are available.

4. Prohibited behavior

You must not misuse the service, disrupt infrastructure, or harm other users.

NewPoint may limit or suspend access for violations, including serious or repeated misconduct.

No harassment, threats, hate speech, or unlawful content.

No malware, phishing, credential theft, or attempts to bypass security.

No scraping or abusive automated requests that degrade service availability.

5. Privacy and legal documents

Use of NewPoint is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Legal documents are versioned. Current Terms and Privacy Policy versions are published in NewPoint legal records and surfaced in the app.

When terms materially change, you may be asked to re-consent to current versions.

Your acceptance events are recorded with document type, version, timestamp, and source.

6. Availability and changes

NewPoint may update features, interfaces, or technical limits to maintain product quality and security.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may perform maintenance or emergency actions.

7. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through available settings.

NewPoint may suspend or terminate access when required for legal, security, or policy reasons.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NewPoint is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
